Bounce Multimedia has been one of the few TV truck companies to test and experiment with ESPN's new Live From Home workflow. This workflow muxes director, producer, off-site stats, graphics, and other key staff audio and video down a single internet line to the announcers station. Utilizing DANTE and other off the shelf products, ESPN has created a unique system that integrates all parties and mobile tv truck units. The delay is minimal with advanced video and audio codecs used. We consider it a blessing to play a part in helping live stream the word to the masses on social media. This time, St. Joseph Catholic Church in Port Arthur, they needed a simple cost conscious system with ease of use and flexibility to stream mass out. We utilized the DataVideo PTC-140 Robotic PTZ Camera which has dual streaming capabilities and audio input to go to Facebook and YouTube simultaneously, while being controlled from any computer on the church network. We also dealt with the unique attic structure and created a new reliable hard-line path for both audio and internet from one end of the church building to the other. We completed the installation in two days from installation to final commissioning.

A good engineer can recognize failures and quickly repair or work around them so the production doesn't suffer. Good engineers are problem solvers and hard workers and will work tirelessly in an event. Our crew regularly goes through the "What if's" and the "scenarios".
